How to remove pet hair from clothes

Pet hair can be a real nightmare to keep off of clothes – we’ve all pulled something out of the washing machine to find it looking like the cat went in there with it! Pet hairs are sharp, fine, and get woven into things easily, so sometimes it’s just unavoidable to have some on your clothes. However, there are a few tips and tricks we have learned over the year – and we are happy to share! If you have a real problem with pet hair, consider looking at a specialist took like the bissell pet stain eraser.

Tumble drying

If you have a tumble dryer, pop your clothes in for a heat-free, tumble only cycle of about ten minutes. This helps to loosen the hair and soften the fabric which gets rid of some hair in preparation for your wash.

If you don’t have a tumble dryer, quickly running a lint roller over your clothes will make the world of difference.

Before you wash (whether or not you have used the tumble dryer trick) briefly shake out all of your clothes.

You could also add about 150ml of white vinegar to your wash, which helps to relax the fibres.

Again, if you have a tumble dryer, use dryer sheets or dryer balls in order to reduce static and lessen the bond between the hair and the fabric.

Preventative measures!

Some pets will let you bathe them –apparently! If you can get away with that, a good tip is to blow dry your pet after their bath, massively reducing the amount of hair they lose. If your pets are anything like ours, it’s probably better for everyone’s sanity to take them to a pet grooming place!

Brushing can make a huge difference, so try to catch the fluffy monsters while they sleep! Apparently, making sure they have a balanced diet can help reduce shedding too.

If this seems like a lot of hassle, let us take your laundry off your hands. Our premises are pet free, as are all our vehicles!

Where To Get Guarantor Loans

Why would you consider a guarantor loan?

A recent study by UHY Hacker Young accountants found that bank lending in the UK is still stalling, down 2.2% in real terms last year, with smaller businesses being hit hardest, as funding problems continue despite the recovery.

Demand for loans is increasing, but the banks are generally not granting new requests unless they are from existing customers with a good track record and security. Many smaller businesses that have struggled through the recession but are now on a more stable footing are still being left out in the cold so for those people in this situation it may be time to get your guarantor loan.

Who could act as your guarantor?

Guarantor lending is about “trust” and so it’s a good idea to use your social network to find your guarantor. It’s crucial that you look for someone you know well and who trusts you.

By offering themselves as your guarantor they are potentially exposing themselves to the risk of you not repaying the loan, in which case, the lender can require the guarantor to repay it. Whoever you want to act as a guarantor will also need to meet certain financial criteria. Consider family members, relations, close friends, work colleagues and business mentors.

What are the criteria for obtaining a guarantor loan?

These vary by lender, but in general:

  • You must be aged 18 or over.
  • You must be a UK resident.
  • You cannot be currently bankrupt of on an IVA (individual voluntary arrangement).
  • You must have a UK bank account
  • You will need to provide a guarantor

Are you guaranteed to get a guarantor loan?

No. Even though lenders want to lend and even if you satisfy the criteria above, lenders are – quite rightly – required to abide by a responsible lending policy.

How I fixed my migraines

For the past 3 years I have been suffering from prolonging and chronic migraines, they can strike at any moment and typically I got one every 2 weeks.

This has held me back in life, in work, in relationships. People don’t seem to understand that I am not trying to avoid social meetings, it’s that I have a migraine. The amount of times I have heard “you always say this” is shocking and I try not to get angry but the number of people that actually understand my issue is very small.

I wish people could appreciate what I went through, and notice I say went. Through the last year I have been making changes to my life that have enabled me to beat this crippling illness.

These are the 5 points which I have changed in my life, which helped beat this!

Stay Hydrated

Drinking water helps your body flush out toxins and waste. It stops concentrated toxic material going through your head which can cause migraines.

I have been drinking a minimum of 4 liters per day, that’s 1 gallon. It sounds rough, but it’s not too bad. To help me out I treated myself to a nalgene bottle. 4 of these a day and I have met my goal, which is easy enough when I stick to:

  1. for breakfast
  2. morning during work
  3. lunch/afternoon at work
  4. during the evening

Drink pure water, do not add crap to it. Your body will only need to filter it out and that defeats the purpose.

Avoid Processed Carbs and Sugar

If you do not how to make it in a kitchen at home, you should not eat it.

If it can’t be made from raw ingredients in your own home, you should not be putting it in your mouth. Avoid processed carbs like corn starch and most bread.

A ketogenic diet (high fat, high protein, low carb) is actually what I went on, I think you should do the same. I have never felt better, the massive amount of fresh vegetables I eat also probably helps.

Avoid Processed Meat

See above! The same points must be made. Avoid “mystery meat” products made from waste animal carcass.

Stick to whole cuts only, ignore those turkey burgers or hot dogs…

For pain, Take Kratom

Do you know how you can give yourself ulcers, kidney damage, liver damage and addition to drugs? Opiates… Just like the ones Doctors kept giving me.

A natural pain killer gets rid of these side effects while completely fixing the issue. It does not make sense to fill your body with Opiates and chemicals when it’s under stress and you have a migraine… So during my last migraines for pain I used kratom powder and it worked brilliantly!

A sedate life is not good for you, as we all know. Keeping on top of basic fitness helps the cardio-vascular system which is brilliant for helping your brain get the nutrients and oxygen it needs to stay healthy.
